there are two parts i can't quite make out. well, i can guess, but when i sing along, i just mumble it out: it's the line throughout...

"all i want is a little piece of land and a little [somethingsomething... craftsman?] house with xiaowan chen."

then the line in the first verse proceeding that...

"one good kiss and a little [green and green?]"

thanks in advance.

Daniel Brummel - "Xiaowan Chen"

All I want is a little piece of land and a little craftsman house with Xianwanchen
One good kiss and a little feed and grain, Iââ,¬â,,¢d be the happiest boy youââ,¬â,,¢ve ever seen

Oh itââ,¬â,,¢s not easy to do it, Oh but if you put your mind to it
Oh, I know youââ,¬â,,¢re gonna do it right.

All I want is a little piece of land and a little craftsman house with Xianwanchen
One red bike and a jacker and a tree, is all that it would take, to settle me

Oh itââ,¬â,,¢s not easy to do it, Oh but if you put your mind to it
Oh, I know youââ,¬â,,¢re gonna do it right.

All I want is a little piece of land and a little craftsman house with Xianwanchen
Live in bliss till I donââ,¬â,,¢t know when and that is how this story ends.

Thank you! He's mentioned those trees in at least two of his older songs (or maybe an Ozma song? I don't remember), and I always wondered what the hell he was talking about. "Jacker and a tree!" Hahah. Jacaranda are very pretty trees, so says my lord and master Google.

I always thought of a jacker as a jackhammer person. It didn't make sense, but I still sang it like that, haha.

Man, it's funny how we get distorted perceptions of lyrics, and then find em out later.

I did that a lot when I was younger, before the invention of the ol' interweb. I had some real bad misconceptions..kinda funny though.

It is funny how you can get tired of something someone does, and the other person ends up being the sympathetic character. It feels like some shitty Apatow movie.

Oh man, people have never seen a jacaranda tree?  Missing out, plants are pretty, and all over San Luis Obispo.

I'm not even sure what one is, although I might've seen one.
Quite possibly too lazy to Google it..but I will.

Ever been to the northeast?  People who claim it's pretty here are retarded and half clealry never been to California.  Our nature sucks compared to you guys' nature.  We may have more of it completely untouched, but the difference is that our boring shit deserves to be parking lots.

Oh geez, I finally Google'd it.

Beautiful stuff.
We do have a lot of those here in Bakersfield.

Looks pretty crappy when not in bloom..but I guess that comes with the territory, ha.

Yeah, they're best in the summer when all the blooms fall to the ground and all the sidewalks are just pretty, purple walkways.  Great urban decoration, really, but I guess they need pretty temperate climates to flourish.
