Yes do tell cesarsalad. Details, details.

eponine was eponine, like always. i am probably wrong, but this version seemed slightly shorter. again, i am probably wrong. i've heard the song many times. how different are the stotb and the pasadena versions?

no one needs to know sounded pretty awesome. it's the same song we've heard a million times before, but i really liked this version of it (i don't think anything has changed, but ozma is so energetic).

fight the darkness had "fight the darkness" over and over again as most of the lyrics. it sounded ok. i liked barriers and incarnation blues better.

fight the darkness is said 22 times. at least no one will forget the name of the song.

the show was good. very high energy from the band and a mostly attentive crowd.
from where i was on the jose, daniel side of the stage the nuances of the music weren't really audible. the chord progressions, melodies, and wacky drumming were very clear.
i've seen ozma maybe 7 or 8 times and this was my favorite show.
andy dick introduced them as "ozmo" after singing a song about a squirrel and a cunt.

did they really play the shortened version of eponine?

were they headlining the show?
"in the immortal words of Thomas G. Warrior: ughhhhh!!"

hipsun

they played the new version of eponine.

rooney headlined the show. they are cute and little girls like them.

Boo@that.  Now, the reasoning for playing the shorter version is because the teenage Rooney fans have a shorter attention span, right?  And we're gonna be hearing the real version when Ozma goes out on their own tour, yes?  Okay, good.

i'm hoping that it was because of time constraints

I found youtube videos:

Eponine - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W9udV_TNqcs

Rocks - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=elddXO0P5Qc

Lol at Ryen accidently starting to play longer instrumental intro to Eponine when they are supposed to be playing the new shorter version.

LOL at Ryen also accidently starting to play the longer solo at the end of Eponine.

Zombie Don Ho

but mostly LOL at whoever in the audience was singing Eponine so horribly; I would have felt like punching her/him in the back of the head.

I am still frustrated no one got video of any of the new songs played. I mean come on, do we need another shitty quality Korobeiniki labled as "that cool Tetris Song" on youtube?

brad

so apparently andy dick introduced them.

here's his video of that squirrels song he sang http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JLY1jnH_FNM

notice daniel cracking up in the background
