i cant go cuz the show sold out and i dont get paid till that day.

if im lucky i'll win tickets.

damn me and my stupid expensive art crap.

this is the third time im going to miss them.

curses!

who's going, and tell me if the shows any good.

funwithsponges

Apparently I completely missed the fact that they were playing in SF anytime soon, and did not get tickets.  And as you say it's sold out, I guess I'm not going.

How are you planning on winning tickets?

patty

USF college radio station KUSF.

thats how i win the majority of my tickets.
KUSF for smaller shows,
LIVE105 for bigger shows.

the huerta girls have speed dialing skills like mad.

Just go to the show and look for someone who is selling tickets and looks trustworthy. Ozma fans are usually good people. When I went to the LA show I had two extra tickets and a number of other people had some to. I ended up selling it to a guy and his girlfriend, they were happy. At that Anaheim show, they were a number of people selling tickets too. I think I remember people selling tickets at the Troubadour, and weird singing bums were selling tickets at the rooney/ozma show in LA they show before they broke up. I donââ,¬â,,¢t think those tickets were real though.

I like ozma

No way, that's comedy gold.  Don't you get it?  The homeless men don't really have tickets (they are poor and homeless, how would they get tickets?), yet they try to pawn off banana peels on unsuspecting ozma fans as if they were tickets.  These boys, of course, did not fall for it (they ain't no suckers), but instead went on to tell the tale to those of us who were not lucky enough to be there.

Hey it realy is a true story (minus the banana peels). Please forgive me for the bum jokes however, they were wrong.

patty

i've noticed my attitude towards homeless jokes varies depending on if theres a specific guy on the 6th street offramp.

its weird.

i get more touchy about homeless jokes if he's there, and i seem not to care about them if hes not.

i could be cuz every time he's there i give him a bottle of water or snack (whatevers in my car) and he acts super nice about it (other people i give stuff to tend not to be half as nice as this particular guy).

so i guess on those days, i feel like people are attacking a friend.

i really need to get overmyself.
but that doesnt change the fact that it was a lame joke.

Well, I love stupid lame jokes, although I am trying to minus hurtful thoughtless jokes, about people such as the homeless. Thanks for correcting that that joke.

McGlamRock

I saw ozma at the bottom of the hill a few years ago. Is that where they're playing again?

No, it was at the wiltren. Most of they people there were there for rooney. But I was saw a couple people with ozma shirts however. I rember seeing a couple of members from Gazz handing out demos after the show, and he siad "Ozma! I love ozma!"

wtf are you talking about?!?!

and yes. ozma played the bottom of the hill a few years ago.
no, they're not playing it this time.
tonight is at the Great American Music Hall.

patty

plus i spend 70%+ of my time in sf.

Where?  I'm in San Ramon now.  I mean, it's not that much further north, but still.  I could make the argument THAT IT'S A WHOLE COUNTY FURTHER NORTH!

patty

hercules area. just south of vallejo.

Ah.  Well that is much closer to SF than SJ.  Fair enough.  PS. Next time you win tickets to a sold out Ozma show that I was too dumb to keep track of myself, take me as your date plz.  Thx.

patty

of course.

granted, it'll have to be another show since
a: this show is over
b: they werent even giving out tickets to this show (as far as i know)

good stuff.

ryen was energetic.

the new hellogoodbye fans are obnoxious, rude and 11 years old. it's quite a shame. hellogoodbye usually puts on good shows (they were not very good that night).

ozma was spot on. fucking spot on.

ooo. and i have to say, this was a special ozma show. it marked the first time i saw ozma outside of Los Angeles.

heysarahsarah

Bob511i: But SARAH is my <3

heysarahsarah
