what was the band that recorded this song again, and where could i find it.

i remember back in the napster/kazaa days when it was an "ozma" song. and that "ok at best" across the sea cover.
Senor Beavis! Donde Esta Tu Hall Pass?

Kyosho

Hey, what're you talking about? That Across the Sea cover was good! I knew it wasn't Ozma the first time I heard it, but I loved that cover.
I'll be rising high above the earth so soon, and the tears I cry might turn into the rain that gently falls upon your window. You'll never know.

Kool Aid Man was by a band called Your Real Dad. There are a couple of different versions out there. It's quite difficult to find, though, ever since mp3.com disappeared...
"Just tell me one thing - is this business, or is it personal? Because if it's business, then I'll go away happily. But if it's personal? I'll go away. But I won't be happy."

the band your real dad is alive and on myspace.  they're called beat graveyard.  they stole about half of my recording gear.  i'm indifferent.  the band that did across the sea was called wheelie and two of the members went on to form a band called gertie fox who are bros with daniel...

Did you make an account just to post that?
That's Cobra on Cobra action.

and how are you indifferent if they stole your shit?

it was an odd coincidence..  i made an account with this very login years ago and tried to login for the first time in years today but couldn't so i reset it and saw this post today at the top so i replied readily because of the strange coincidence. i guess seeing someone want your real dad's music perturbed me because they didn't return gear or pay me for their recording project i worked on for months, but i'm all about music getting out there so i gave up their new music which i spyspaced a year ago...but added the twist that they stole my ish.  their new stuff sounds ok.  i'm indifferent because i've moved on to more recording projects and gear but immediately perturbed and sassy enough this morning to post something about it.  my recordings are generally pro bono now and/or for groups i play in.

Man I've had your fucking equipment under my bed for the last four years. I told you countless times, before I moved you could come and get it. I still have it. You can come get. I'm not trying to steal your shit from you. Come get it. Please. It takes up alot of space!

This thread now = awesome
Unterreiner is tall and surprisingly thin, given that the floor of his closet is stacked high with junk food. Boxes and bags of Doritos, Twinkies and Ho-Hos spill out onto the floor. He has towels around his window to keep out the cold air at night. "I hate this old house," he said bitterly, then changed the name of an unfinished track to "Cold Day."

Ok.  I emailed you at gmail about retrieving the gear.  I didn't want to post here again but it's been a week since I emailed you and I haven't heard back.  Let me know what's up...

CHILLER

You're never going to get your shit back. That was just some jack ass.

"Your Real Dad" later became "Beat Graveyard"

They just re-posted this track and the rest of that EP to YouTube
