Was a gift from a friend.  I never got any OZMA stuff first hand from the merch table--I never saw them live until these past shows.

Haha, nope.  Perhaps a bit "overly excited," but no pointless cruelty.

I also forgot to mention I also have the yellow "Tron" shirt.  It's probably the ugliest shirt I own.

to know what day it is.

I have a few.

pyramid logo yellow on red (classic)
pyramid logo blue on blue (my favorite, hands down)
pyramid logo white outline on black (never wear this cause it's WAY too big)
tron spears on yellow (rock and roll part three shirt)
blue donkey shirt
blue electric warrior (#37, never wear it cause I'm a collector asshole.  It's a shame because I like the shirt a lot.)
Title: Re: this is apparently the post your t shirt thread now.
Post by: kitten on March 29, 2006, 07:11:11 pm
i have:
2 pyramid logo shirts, one red with yellow, and one navy with light blue.
brown donkey shirt (i really don't know what it's called)
brown electric warrior shirt, which i do wear because i love it.
light blue shooting stars shirt, which i don't wear because i outgrew it.
and the reunion shirt, which i have yet to wear, or wash for that matter.

i think that's it.

I have a blue Electric Warrior shirt that is signed by all the band members (which meant Pat, at the time). Unfortunately this means it never gets washed. Or worn. It's #26.

The electric warrior shirt was limited to 100, each of them hand numbered.  I think it was available in 3 colors, but I only remember two of them:  Blue and brown.  They were put out by some company (possibly named electric warrior) and sold on the Roonie tour for outrageously high prices (30 bucks).

edit cos i asked just now:

they were thirty bucks because they were limited edition and printed on high quality t-shirts.  dylan designed them.

did dylan design that one too?Ã,

they had to be sold for thirty bucks because that's how much rooney's shirts were, and as openers they were not allowed to sell their shirts for less.Ã,  at least that's what josé told me.

jose was lying.  he had to come up with fake justification to hide his own greed.

Actually Dan told me they were so expensive because of the treatment process they went through. Something with stones, or something, to make them feel like they had that "old, worn in shirt" feeling. Said it cost them like $25 for each shirt, so Ozma really didn't even make more profit off of them than the normal shirts. How much does that suck, I ask you?

Well, I didn't mean my "outrageously high price" comment to be interpretted as it's wording probably suggests.  I think the shirt was more or less completely intended to be collectable, and as such, the price hike was justified.  Considering that it was done in conjunction with a fake-vintage t-shirt company, done in such a short run, made to such quality, and sold on a relatively major tour, there are a lot of potential reasons why the price could have been so high.

I also have an Samuel array of Ozma shirts.

Blue on blue pyramid
blue donkey
blue on black spending time logo
pink on black spending time logo

uh...I thought I had one more but I forget which.

And yeah, screened shirts are much more expensive if you don't buy them in huge quantities.  Limited run shirts are always gunna be more expensive, unless you print them yourself, and the cost of the equipment is generally pretty prohibative of that.

im gonna have to still say no.
