Title: Korobeiniki Live Cover
Post by: brad on June 09, 2007, 03:01:18 pm
In the spirit of Ozma coming to town soon, my band covered Koro in our set last night.  Thoughts/comments?  (i know there will be one about the ending, but we only learned it 2 nights before the set)

i really liked that cover, particularily the drums.  i don't think chopping off the ending was a big deal, but i think you could have ended the song in a more conclusive way in spite of that.  otherwise i really enjoyed the subtle changes you guys made (like the drumming and rhythm and tempo modifications)...plus it was super tight.

awesome job dude!

Yeah, I agree, very solid.  Out of curiousity, which one are you?  My band might cover this too at some point, my drummer and I rock out to it ourselves occasionally.

"It's Tetris!  It's Tetris."  Ha, that made me laugh.  :)

I'm the bassist.  Thanks guys.  Yeah the ending didn't work out exactly how we planned it, oh well.

Although I prefer adding "face" too, :P
