Brian, there is no place for inside jokes on this board if we the only people who understand them.

if there is any lyric correction, i'd want to know

p.s. view of the sea is lush

Well I've got Accelerated Sunrise, it was from a thread a while back:

accelerated sunrise thinking only of her eyes black shiny widening meek calm bleak arising out of the deep awakening from sleep 10,000 feet above 10,000 lakes back on the mainland who is her main man bernoulli keeps my body in the air despite the ailerons my heart is still down there with the one who cuts the paper fair the curvature of the earth does not compare to hers i feel a fool to not know what occurs must not be worried my heart beats hurried as i start to feel the pull of gravitation back coal smoke from train's stack who laid this train track hunters gatherers built this town by hand then broke and danced the night away to a twelve-piece band you live happier living off the land there's someone left in the west who will join me on my quest it's time to right all the wrong in sight but wait before you give up sew your stitch into this cloth going down to the three meetings with the three-toed sloth halt referenda two last addenda one and only one will ring complete i'm sending out a ciphered plea with no return receipt to gather strength and finalize the fleet though those who send energy don't send an ease of use i ain't immune to the thoughts of the noose i used to die every day her footsteps turned my way yet now i live without that abuse ear to the seashell who hears the sea swell our makeshift dam won't hold against the tide a fleeting thought of grandma and what they told me of how she died the gods were killers when they knelt and cried sunset dilated i stare thinking only of her hair black shiny lazy untangled sweet reminding me of a day when things were still okay back when my skin was without a crease bit by a birth shark i still have the birth mark never never never rescue me never never never will i want to leave don't you pin my report card to my sleeve

Sorry its kinda a giant mass of text, but its not hard to follow.

Four-hundred blows, in a heaven made from bungalows. I was a kid.
And up the street, there was a girl I prayed to meet, but never did.
Oohhh Oohh...
An uphill climb, a lonely sack lunch trip through time.  But I'm just fine.
'Cause here and there, I have a network to take care of me and mine.
Ooh ooh ooh ooh...
From atop the jacaranda tree, a view of the sea.
Climb on up and share it here with me.  I want you to see.
A sound so bright, a car wash turns into a water fight.  Some men would scorn.
In dimmer light, I'd sing these songs to you by night on our front porch.
Ooooh oooooh ooooohhh oooooh...
From atop the jacaranda tree a view of the sea.
Climb on up and share it here with me.  I want you to see. x2
[solo]
[...] was slung from the tree to the ladder's seventh rung, we'd sway all day
Our song was sung with the love of the ten year silent tongue.  We'd play all day.
Oooh ooooh ooooh ooooh...
From atop the jacaranda tree, a view of the sea.
Climb on up and share it here with me.  I want you to see. x2

thanks yoshigaki!

If I still had this recording, I could probably figure it out, but it was lost to my dying hard drive.

And for the sake of completeness here are chords as near as I can figure from my memory.  (Capo 5 makes this song easier.)

Verse: Bm7 . E7 . C#m7 . F#m7 . D . E . A
Post-Verse: Bm . C#m . D . E (If going into verse, play: F#m7 . F#7.  If going into chorus, play nothing more)
Chorus: A . C#m7 . D . D(b5) . A . C#m7 . D . E . F#m7 . F#7

Here are the lyrics I used in my youtube cover. I think I like ozma's are closer though.

Four-hundred blows, in a heaven made from bungalows. I was a kid.
And up the street, there was a girl I dreamed to meet, but never did.
Oohhh Oohh...
An uphill climb, a lonely suchman's trip through time.  But I'm just fine.
It does seem unfair, I'm climbing upward to take care of me and mine.
Ooh ooh ooh ooh...
From atop the jacaranda tree, a view of the sea.
Climb on up and share it here with me.  I want you to see.
A sun so bright, a crushed and dainty water fight sent down my spine.
Into the light, I'd sing these songs to you by night and on our porch.
Ooooh oooooh ooooohhh oooooh...
From atop the jacaranda tree a view of the sea.
Climb on up and share it here with me.  I want you to see. x2
[solo]
(I forgot what I put here) was sung from the tree to the latin southren throne, we'd swear all day
Our song was sung with the love of a tenuous silent tone.  We'd play all day.
Oooh ooooh ooooh ooooh...
From atop the jacaranda tree, a view of the sea.
Climb on up and share it here with me.  I want you to see. x2

I know alot of it doesn't make sense, but it was the best I could come up with on my own.

QuoteA sun so bright, a crushed and dainty water fight sent down my spine.

this is the only weird part to me.

I believe it is a combination of the two.

"A sun so bright a car wash turns into a water fight.  Some men would scorn."

I've been listening to this over and over on headphones and can't figure the first part out.

My best guess is "I fell and hung from the tree...".

i was just listening to it again and it sounded kinda like "a velvet hung" but that would be weird.

Uh. You guys are weird. It's...

"A hammock hung from the tree to the ladder's seventh rung. We'd sway all day."

I was never confused about that one. That's kind of the point of the song. Being up in the hammock "atop the jacaranda tree" with a "view of the sea."

There are a few different ways I could take that, but I'm just going to assume you're hitting on me.
