i might very well do this if im not house sitting that weekend. but it will be my last weekend mobile so i think my friends might hate me if i ditch them for a concert.Ã,Â
pretty much anyweekend after the 21st i couldve seen them in new york though, damn

I'm not actually sure I have Ozma friended.
Anyway, it was originally posted that it was from the Rentals' street team, so I wanted to make sure Ozma was actually in on these... you know, without going through the effort to check or anything.
Chicago is the closest to me at about a six hour drive. Why can't they come to Ohio? :( I'll probably try to go anyway.
I'm with ya on the no Philly show, guess I'll try for Irving plaza too. New York is always fun but man that place is expensive...just getting there from my part of NJ costs a lot of dough.
6 hours is doable, you should totally go.
as for prices of shows in general, i typically find that I spend about 3-5 times the cost of the ticket in general transportation costs for most shows (save for the ever so occaisional local show). It's part of why I stay home a lot of the time.
i will definitly be at the Atlanta show. these are two bands i thought i'd never see live [again], and to be honest -- i'm stoked.
i will be bringing my girlfriend, best friend, and hopefully talk my teacher into coming. he was a return of the rentals fan when it came out

Yeah, I live in Glassboro, so we're talking an hour drive to Hamilton to the Train Station, then another hour and a half on the train to MSG. And the ticket cost is like 15.00 for the train, while the ticket for Irving Plaza is probably 12.
Club sound blows. The only thing that will save it will be ozma and jagermeister.

OMG EXCITED!
Hi guys.Ã, I'm back for now on the GOD because of the Ozma tour excitement.Ã, FINALLY I'm going to get my second chance to see them live in DC.Ã, I never thought this day would come.Ã, Had you asked me one year ago if I thought Ozma would get back together, I would have said "no way."Ã, I expected maybe a one-time reunion show someday, but not this.
I want to drive down to the NORVA for the next day's show, but that's about 4 hours away... not a big deal, but I'd have to leave right after the DC show because I hate driving into VA Beach anytime other than early morning hours.
To those of you who think you can't go:Ã, JUST GO ANYWAY!!!!!Ã, No matter what, GO!Ã, Because you won't regret it, and you don't know when you may get another chance!!!Ã, Forget about the money, and just do it!!!Ã, If it wasn't for them getting back together, I would have regret for my entire life that I never saw them two summers ago in DC.Ã, The only reason I didn't go was because I figured I could catch them another time.Ã, I know a guy who lost his job because he went to three shows on the final GUK tour.Ã, That sucks, but when you think about it, that was a once in a lifetime thing, and he just had to do it.Ã, So you gotta do it!!Ã, Go!Ã, You all have jobs!Ã, Just blow all your money no a train or bus or plane!!!
Anyway, I'm pumped!
edit: And besides, I went 3000 miles to hear OZMA play the reunion shows. When I was planning it, it seemed like an absolutely ridiculous thing to do, although thinking back on it all I'm really glad I did. I think you'll be too! GO GO GO!
That's all well and good, but where am I supposed to get this money TO blow? I'm about 320 dollars in debt to my housemate right now and make around 120 bucks a week at my current rate. If anything I need another job, not one less.
Though I am going to look into the possibility of seeing the New York show. Ozma's presense is a motivator, but I'll be honest, THE RENTALS are the selling point here.

Certainly,
GETTING the money to blow is a problem for a lot of people.Ã, Perhaps I'm somewhat spoiled because I DO have a credit card in case I ever want to buy something that I don't have the physical money for at the moment.Ã, However, I've seen those things fuck up a few lives, so I'm not recommending it.Ã, My standard response would be to say borrow a few bucks from a few friends, but if you're already in debt, it might not go over too well to ask for more.
Overall, my main point was directed to those who only feel like the can't/shouldn't go.Ã, Like, don't just turn down a 10 hour drive
because it's a 10 hour drive.Ã, Don't avoid a $150 plane ticket
just because it's $150.Ã, I'm basically just talking about hesitating because it seems out of your league, or downright crazy.Ã, You don't want to regret afterwards that you
COULD HAVE done it.Ã, I'm not talking about doing something stupid; use good judgement, but don't be scared away by ultimately-minor intricacies.Ã, Make a sacrifice if you can afford it.Ã, Like Miles said in
Risky Business; "...Every now and then say, 'What the fuck.' 'What the fuck' gives you freedom..."
Okay, that's all for my motivational speech.Ã, --I'm not saying it's the answer to everything, but had someone said that to me 2 years ago I wouldn't have missed that DC Ozma show.
Of course, if you can't physically afford it, and it's absolutely impossible to get the money or means to go, then there's nothing you can do.Ã, But, if you feel like there is some hope, at least give it a try.Ã, I mean, in my case I'd never seen them live (and I still don't really feel like I have) so, going to the show was a
big deal for me.Ã, If you've seen them ten times already, you'd probably feel slightly less "personally-obligated" to go to the show.
Anyway, I guess I should also be embarrassed to say that I'm not even familiar with The Rentals. :/Ã, I'll have to make sure I am before the show...
Oh I don't give a fuck about doing things. I went to NYC many times entirely on a whim. If the closest Ozma/Rentals came was Pittsburgh, i'd still go just for fun.
my obstacle is having physical money (and a job) to do it. everything else I don't even care, i'll find a box to sleep in outside the club if its that bad.
Well, that sucks. Closest is Chicago. Six hours. I was hoping for an Iowa City again.
I love how almost everyone in this thread so far is disappointed about the routing of this tour. For once I'm not alone.
In addition to the money obstacle, I'm sort of scared shitless of NYC. I'd almost rather just go to DC. I've been to DC before, That's a city I know I can handle. If I still had a sister living in Virginia, I would go to the DC show. There isn't really anybody I know that would go with me other than my girlfriend possibly. And while she would be good company for the trip, I am not sure she'd be a whole lot better than me at the "dealing with the intimidating and unfamiliar" factor that NYC presents. We both have a tendency towards crippling anxiety over stupid shit, and her's is probably worse than mine. It would be ideal if I had a friend in New York who would be willing to go or somebody that's either A. familiar with the city or B. not retarded, or C. possibly both. Unfortunately, as of yet, I don't know of any such people. I'm still considering it seriously though. There are few times I feel more worthwhile than when I'm traveling.
Don't freak out. NYC is not a big deal. I spent a week there, unsupervised, when I was seventeen. Nothing bad will happen.

I don't know if i'd qualify but NYC isn't that much scarier than Boston. I can't really promise any kind of housing, but if you'd like a bit of a tourguide I can see what I can do. Mandy/Jordan probably know better but if you could tolerate me I know NYC decently enough. NYC is just a harcore Boston, really with a better train system.
edit:although I can entirely understand if you don't want to travel with me. My only saving grace is i'm giong to have super medication (summer is when I try out new dosages for the school year)
Stan, you're cool, don't fret.

Oh, okay, being a true fan means you have disposable income and a flexable schedule. For a moment there I thought it had something to do with sincere appreciation of one's art or something like that. Thanks for the correction. I've made huge tirps before to see bands. I obviously can't compete with people who flew crosscountry to see Ozma or GUK shows, but I mean, I've traveled for 8 solid hours to see band's many a time. I've ridden busses and tried to navigate confusing train systems on my own. And yeah, most the times I did that it was because the bands playing were particularly important to me, but it's also reflective of where I was financially at the time and things of that matter. I'm more desperate for shows than I've ever been this past year, but this is also my first year of attempted financial independence. They aren't exactly compatible.
And honestly, I'd rather a show not happen than have a show happen and not be able to go to it. Bootlegs are pretty bittersweet.

Mine's ridiculous, but does it qualify as an opinion?
But please, hear me out:Ã, Let's say it doesn't pan out and I can't make any of the stops on this tour.Ã, I do not wish for the tour to be canceled.Ã, That's just meanspirited.Ã, However, given the choice between missing a show in Boston, or having zero knowledge of it's happening whatsoever at any point, I'd easily choose the latter.Ã, I don't think that's so ridiculous.
Example:Ã, I have this bootleg from a D-Plan show that my friend in Boston recorded and sent to me for some odd reason.Ã, At the time I wasn't a fan.Ã, Years later, I'm a huge Dismemberment Plan fan, and the knowledge that I missed the show, along with the bootlegged evidence of it's happening, fully piss me off.Ã, As fun as it is to listen to, I might be better off without it.
edit: This all works under the assumption that reality only exists to the extent that I percieve it.
And again, I'm not calling for any show cancelations or anything.
i'd take care of you guys in new york.
my campus isn't in manhattan, but a few train stops north of the bronx.
you could both even crash on my floor or something because i'll have a single room.
come to new york and we'll all meet up.
i know all the subways and everything and it's really easy and once you get the hang of it, not so scary.
i'm pretty understanding with any kind of anxiety problems and would love to show you guys around.
so, if you do want to make the trip i'll help you out any way that i can.
EDIT: FUCK! I HATE BEING HOME FOR THE SUMMER :(
so...this goes for all concert dates that occur AFTER aug. 28th.

I know exactly what you mean Jason and I don't think it's really that ridiculous at all.Ã, The D-Plan story reminds me of a similar feeling I have regarding The Get Up Kids:Ã, Back in like 96 & 97 they did a bunch of basement shows in the College Park, MD--about 10 minutes from my house.Ã, These were tiny sets and college radio shows and things.Ã, Obviously, I was way too young back then to go to any of those if I'd wanted to, but just knowing that something so awesome was so close by is a very awkward feeling.Ã, I have video of some of these events and they are almost painful to watch knowing that I didn't even catch TGUK until their final tour almost 10 years later.Ã, I feel like I fucked up not "caring" enough about them back when I had great chances to be a part of it all.Ã, Part of me wishes I'd just always been oblivious to it all.Ã, :/Ã, It's not enjoyable to think about.
And that's kinda why I made the whole "GO GO GO" point to begin with.Ã, In the case of Ozma's last show in DC, there really was NO good reason that I didn't go.Ã, I just figured I'd catch them "next time."Ã, Thankfully, now there is a "next time," but I have so many "next time" regrets that I really try not to say that anymore. :/
As for NYC, I fucking hate that city.Ã, I think it's also that I find it somewhat intimidating as well.Ã, However, it's more that I just think it's a dirty, crowded, over-rated place.Ã, I did spend some time there myself last summer "on my own" and it wasn't really that difficult to navigate.Ã, But, that place does really creep me out, and I'd rather be somewhere prettier.Ã, People always talk about how beautiful Central Park is, but honestly anything would look beautiful by itself if you dropped it in the middle of a pile of shit.Ã, I don't get why people love NYC so much.
Anyway, I hope it works out for you if you actually try to make it to the shows... If I could, I would offer you a place to stay in DC, but I'm expecting to be staying with people the days before and after the show (if I don't actually drive to VA to catch the next night) so as cool as it would be to offer you the couch at my parents house, it probably wouldn't work out.
I wish you the best.
I saw the ad a few days ago and it sent shivers up my spine. Wednesday, July 26th. The Roseland. Portland OR. I still get shivers every time I think of it. Yay.

maybe some of us take it to different extremes, but im on my own, been in debt and still found ways to travel far distances to make shows. im not saying only real fans will go the extra step, even if it may have come out that way. Im just saying 99% of the time you can find a way to mow a few lawns or anything like that and make it happen. I think its really shitty when people get all upset because they have to drive 3 hours to a show and things like that.
Oh yeah, me too. Three hours ain't shit. I'm from northern/central Maine and traditionally I've had to drive a MINIMUM of three hours to see almost any show. I've made that kind of drive to see "local" bands a number of times. And for most things I really want to see, I have to go to Boston, which can require anywhere between 5 and 8 hours depending on where I leave from and what the travel conditions are. Though I don't mean to bitch too much, as in the past two years, my town has stepped up to the plate quite a bit, and the club down the street has had bands like Against Me! (a personal favorite of mine) and a few decently popular underground bands within walking distance of my apartment. I consider myself quite fortunate for that. Point is, I'm not one to think twice about 3 hours, even a Boston show isn't THAT big a deal (I did it 5 times for Ozma). I'll bitch about it, but I'll still DO it. New York is a much bigger deal though. Maine to NYC is a bigger trip than I've ever made for a show, and this is one of the hardest financial situations I've ever been in. Like I said, I'm making an honest crack at being financially independant, which is hard. My rent's expensive, I make almost nothing. I don't get enough hours at work. I desperately need another job. But anyway.
It occured to me today that The Rentals and Ozma is an absurdly huge deal, and I really want to at least take a whack at it. I looked at some maps online and it turns out that my sister's current location in CT could in fact be very helpful. She just moved there from VA, so I wasn't thinking about it til now, but from the looks of the maps, she's about 100 miles outside of the city. So I know I have a place to stay with her more than likely (though obviously, I should run this by her). So the pieces are starting to come together.

Bootlegs are pretty bittersweet.
maybe some of us take it to different extremes, but im on my own, been in debt and still found ways to travel far distances to make shows. im not saying only real fans will go the extra step, even if it may have come out that way. Im just saying 99% of the time you can find a way to mow a few lawns or anything like that and make it happen. I think its really shitty when people get all upset because they have to drive 3 hours to a show and things like that.

Seeing the Rentals > Getting lost in NYC
I read Jason's post and it reminded me of when I found out ECW wrestling was in Peoria, IL back around 1999 or 2000 and Billy Corgan made an appearance. My first thought wasn't "Oh cool" it was "And I missed it!!! FUCK!!!" So I understand what you're saying.
Who wants to willingly go to NYC? Not me. But i'll go because its two awesome bands playing their first shows in my 'area' in a damn long time. I still don't get why they're playing DC and Virginia, while they're ignoring two huge markets in Boston and Philly.

can I have someones opinion on this matter?
well I'll be damned.
seriously though, unsolicited opinions about my home are bothersome to me. sure, I bitch about it, but I also live here and know it better than anyone else on this forum. Whether I'm crazy about it or not, it's part of my identity. It's tough to explain and I doubt I could do it in a way that wouldn't sound hypocritical. When I take a jab at maine, it's because I'm troubled by the things about it that effect my life. When outsiders take a jab at it, it's by necesity generalized, and it's hard not to see it as an attack on me, the parts of me that wouldn't be the same without having been exposed to this environment, my family, and a whole bunch of things that are actually quite dear to me. Like I said, it's a confusing argument, because frankly I feel like I'd rather stab myself to death than live here for another 3 years, but it's still something I'd rather not be seen bundled up into a single one sylable word and talked shit about by people who know virtually nothing about it.
/rant
yay rentals.
I apologize then, I kind of assumed you hated maine 100% so I figured it was fair game. Also, I have a couple other friends from various parts of maine who also pretty much hate it after seeing big cities so I kind of generalized. I didn't really mean it in any way but humorous. I mean Maine's cool too. Instead of being mugged by a black guy in a dark alley, you can get fucked up by bears! More sweeping generalizations! Then again I should talk. I'm the stereotype of Massachusetts people. Liberal commie faggin it up about gay rights.
in other news: I haven't really gotten into the rentals.. what's reccomended listening?
Here's a torrent I made a few weeks ago, I think theres still people seeding.
It's got The Rentals' 2 studio releases...Return of the Rentals and Seven More Minutes.
Both awesome, Seven More Minutes is my favorite though.

I may only be 3 years older than you, but i was in a much different place financially when I was in college than I am now. When I was in college, I payed for stuff, but money mostly came from elsewhere. Now I'm expected to actually pay it back. It puts a lot more strain on me financially. When I was 20, I made boston trips constantly.

My tickets to the August 2nd show in Milwaukee just arrived. TEH YIPPYA!
ticketmaster.com includes a bunch of fees that i don't think i want to pay. idk there's a text field missing for buyers to input their zip code after viewing the total price....i'm not really allowed to buy things via the EEEENNnternet using the plastic anyhow. should i buy mine at the door? i may resort to the mall for my tix. i don't drive and i need to do something for my parent's wedding anniversary...i would feel badly if i did that tho, cos it'd be like "MOMMY CAN YOU DRIVE ME TO THE MALL TO POSSIBLY BUY YOU AND DADDY AN ANNIVERSARY GIFT???????" especially since i'm 19. :-[
purpose being: what's the difference in price between the three options?
ok i've decided that i'll wait until the day of the show to buy my ticket and spend the entire day in los angeles in case they sell out quickly during nighttime. venues usually always save a few tickets to be sold at the door don't they?

what kind of mod says that?!? ugh. boiz.
I think his point was that Ozma in their hometown is probably likely to sell out. Combine that with the fact that they are playing with The Rentals, and you should find a way to buy tickets before the show.
And since it sounds like you don't actually live in LA (you said "I've deicded I'm just going to spend the whole day in LA"), you could be wasting an entire day/gas/etc.
Plus, I just don't see the benefit other than saving some minor amount on a service charge.Ã, It's kind of tough to say, considering there is really no precedent for a Rentals come-back, but that seems to me like the sort of thing that would sell out.Ã, Ozma's sold out shows on their own before, and The Rentals are indisputably a bigger draw than Ozma, what with their direct connections to Weezer, a group that has sold out arena's in less than 15 minutes.Ã, Now obviously The Rentals can't sell out arena's in less than 15 minutes, but I'd guess they can, at the least, still fill a club no problem.
Just got my ticket for the NYC show. Hope to see some folks there!
Quote from: default_anon on June 27, 2006, 09:37:25 PM
Does anyone have any information on the August 15th show? The Rentals site originally listed Ozma on the bill, but now it doesn't... Ozma's site doesn't list the show. But I already bought tickets..Ã, :-\
My brother might want the tickets, but if Ozma really is playing I don't want to give them away.
Thanks.
My guess is that, if neither site lists them as being on the bill, they probably aren't. The Rentals probably initially thought they were, but then changed it when they learned otherwise.
I'd recomend going to see The Rentals though. This is a very rare opportunity to see a band that probably had a pretty big influence on Ozma.
Bought my tickets for Milwaukee today. w00t.
I don't think I want to go to NYC, I just can't stand the city. Still don't get why they are skipping whole markets (and pretty big ones I should add).

Yeah sad to say, this was my least favorite ozma show I went to. Not too bad, it just didnt really move me like before. The rentals were really awesome though. I cant even fully express how much I liked it. The opening band was pretty cool too.
daniel also broke a string on his bass and borrowed matt's bass for a few songs. And I think ryen had amp problems more than once. This isn't a fact by any means, but it seems to me that daniel and ryen weren't getting along the best, and I saw starr just walking down the street with some guy after the show. Jose, Daniel, drummer boy and Ryen moved all the gear

They're people, they get pissed off. It doesn't necessarily mean anything. And it's hard to say, if they were pissed, if it had anything to do with each other or not. Hell, loading up shit after a show is enough to depress me sometimes.

...man I hope they revise the setlist before they get to Milwuakee. Hearing way to many reports of people going off and taking care of their drinking during Ozma, getting bored during their set... Why aren't they busting out the rockin' tunes?... 1988, Shootingstars, Bootymstr, No1needs2no...COME ON OZMA.
that is really unfortunate... i didn't think much of the boot from the july 7th show (thanks for posting it, by the way). oh well, i hope they have better days. cool pics, though.

damn.
saw the rentals and ozma last night at the great american music hall in sf. ho-ly shit.
ozma was definitely on last night. honestly, it was probably one of the best performances i've seen from them... which was bittersweet since their set seemed all too short for how much they were putting into it. it was refreshing to hear them go back to the (semi) original version of battlescars.
the rentals blew my fucking mind. and the girls are uber hot/cute/sexy - talented. ryen once again being a total badass was the icing on the cake.
great show
(i hope someone recorded itÃ, ;D)

ooo..and one more thing
the intro of the Rentals was the song from 2046. Totally blew me away. I LOVE that movie and theme. I always listen to it in my ipod when i feel down.
oh, for sure. i was smiling like an idiot for the whole set after the wall of moogs on 11 kicked in.

jesus, you get dumber by the post.
Great pics Mir, that venue looks badassicle
Just got back from the Portland stop. Awesome. Star gave me her setlist, which was written on a paper plate. I was wearing my Service Group tee and when I went to the merchandise booth Jose was all "Hey, Dylan's a great guy. He designed this poster and this shirt with the boombox." I tried to buy the shirt but they didn't have any in XL (I'm a little bigger than a large), so I got the astronaut one. Got the poster too.
And the show was umbraxiaogoobah. I made that word up. But I think you get the idea. Pretty much the same setlist from Vancouver. Natalie Portman just fucking sent shivers up my spine. The whole show was umbraxiaogoobah.
And the Rentals were very entertaining! Tight group, Samuel drummer. I was highly impressed. I mean, I thought I'd like them based on what I'd heard, but the presentation live was no comparison. The harmonies were mesmerizing, and Rachael really reminds me of her sister (who I've seen quite a few times when she was with the Decemberists), all small and pixieish and full of graceful charm.

Well if sodomy is illegal in Oregon, then they might be down for it. Cuz you know, they're into doing illegal things. You see what I did there?

"The show at Great American Music Hall in San Francisco on Saturday was epic, the Rentals set really brought the house down, especially ââ,¬Å"Friends of Pââ,¬Â in which Ryen wailed a guitar solo whilst standing above the crowd, atop a pillar. Rachel, Sara, and Lauren are sounding so sweet on the backup harmonies, really great players all around, breathing new life into their songs. Itââ,¬â,,¢s a real joy to be supporting them on their first tour back in action. I know a complete mp3 bootleg has already shown up from the Henry Fonda Theatre show in LAââ,¬Â¦ look through the Ozma or Rentals forum boards to find em."
man, i really hope a bootleg shows up...

Both awesome, Seven More Minutes is my favorite though.

When I first seen this I thought "what the hell is Star natalie portman doing playing bass and playing "natalie portman""star wick" for that matter!?!?".Ã, Then I'm like "Oh, nevermind".
Jesus, that's not even a fucking joke.Ã, There is no comedic element to that whatsoever.Ã, Way to lose.
c'mon try it, breath in............. breath out............ breath in.................. breath out..................
that's besides the point.
you suck, man.
This is especially funny because of how much shit you gave me for ragging on these dudes a while back.
these dudes?
i gave you shit for ragging on
oatmeal. oatmeal is a decent fellow. or at least he has a little more sense than this guy.
for fucks sake, you were ragging on oatmeal because there was an obvious language barrier.
I think there was a large degree of misunderstanding with the whole oatmeal thing. First off, I'm not clear on whether or not there really was a language barrier, and Mike's comments, when actually read correctly, were not making fun of him for that (if it indeed existed). The comments I remember were highly misinterpretted and spun out of control. Mike never ever posted anything that could be simplified to "I'm making fun of you because you speak English as a second language."
As for I Like Ozma: Yeah, I'm retarded for insisting upon calling him out, but he's gotta learn to either tell jokes that don't suck ass or just stop replying to every thread he can with some half assed attempt at humor or edgyness.
Anyway. The Rentals / Ozma shows in NYC and DC are coming up, and the plans are falling into place. I'm excited.
Hey guys, super psyched about going to the Aug 5th show at 9:30 club (just got my tix, w00t). One question, 9:30 club says the show starts at 10pm but the Ozma website says 8pm. Anyone know when I need to get to the show??? Thanks!
I'd get there at 6:30-7:00 to be sure ;D
2 days till my show 8)
Minneapolis? Anyone? Tonite?

well, oatmeal was obviously offended by it and nobody backed down. (...and really, is it necessary to ask someone if their second language is english if it clearly is?)
it sucks to bring this back up, so this will be the last of it.
anybody plan on recording any of these shows?

Hey, I'mÃ, heading up there too! According to the 9:30 Club site, they have a show earlier that day, so I'm guessing that the 10:00 time is correct. I'll probably call them when I get to DC to be sure, now that you mention it.
call me late or call me a mexican.
i dont care.
both are true.
but...
im a little bummed out now that i didnt go to the sf show. granted that would have ment missing out on a free flaming lips show, and hell no, i wouldnt want to miss that. but im still bummed that this is the second time that ozma's been back in the bay since thier reunion, and i still havnt seen them play. plus the great american has been one of my favorite venues, possibly my favoritest venue since the bottom of the hills made a habit of getting only acts that oversell out for all thier shows making it so hard to see anything anymore. at least with the great american i can still find room to dance.....and its really pretty.
and now hearing you say it was the best you've seen ozma preform makes me a little more bummed.
oh well.
at least the pictures are purdy.

yeah i was there.
but near the end of facing new york, my friend discovered she had too much alcohol in her system so we too it outside for the set till my bf could be found to drive us home. i could faintly hear from the parking lot.
I was at the show saturday night in Baltimore. I swear there was a guy there that looked identical to Jason. (or Not). I was so tempted to go ask him what his name was. But I'm a chicken.
My heart melted to see Ozma live again. Chills all over.

by baltimore do you mean DC? or is 9:30 actually in baltimore? (i know jack about the geography there) in any case, I was at an ozma show on saturday in that general area.
I went to the DC show, drove from Columbus, Ohio. Got some great pics!

Wait yeah I meant DC. And it probably was you. At one point I walked by and did that thing where you yell out and pretend it wasn't you and checked to see if they person in question looks. The person in question did not look. But it probably was you anyway. And that's cool.
I actually think I heard that. I think I just brushed it off and assumed it was directed at a different person.
